The team of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) of Central Texas and the IBEW Local 520 have made it easy to identify qualified and safety minded electricians for your job.

Each IBEW Local 520 electrician is required to carry the NECA/IBEW Certification Card.  The City of Austin requires that all electricians working within the city carry an Identification badge that includes their name, License #, Employer name & the name of the Master Electrician. The NECA/IBEW ID Card meets the city requirements, but is also your assurance that the carrier has successfully completed or is currently training in the demanding NECA/IBEW Joint Apprenticeship and Training Program.
